displaying binary data in crstal report

Question

Hi

I have to display binary data field in crystal report.

There is a field in a table in SQL Server with datatype "Image" and when I open this table to see the data, the image datatype field contains just "<binary>".

I need to display this field in crystal report along with some other fields.

How do I do this?

Do I need to write code in C#.....If so can anyone help in this regard....

It is very urgent...please dudes help me.

Hi Im facing the same problem. I have used stored procedure in crystal report. while load my report Ill be able to create dataset. I have not return any code to create a dataset in my page. In one of my project this requirement arose. When we use image data field from database on crystal-report there come issue of type. Image & Binary these are 2 types we found in database & crystal report. these cause problem of compatiblity. To resolve it we need to take Typed-Dataset that have data from database. Now we can configure this typed-dataset to crystal report. This will resolve your problem. This will surely help you.
