Dot matrix printing on c sharp

Question

i have a bill format as follows

                        Bill

SL No        particulars        Qty        Rate

1                Nokia 6300        1        4500

In this bill report the width is constant but length is depends upon the particulars

it is printing on dotmatrix printer and paper size is A4 (set in cristalreport)

So i want to stop bill printing on last particulars or last line printing

actually what i did in my project is 1) i binded all the data from rdlc report to asp.net web page (web page have more than 1 page data) 2) i want single pass (uni direction) on printer when i click print on dot matrix printer 3) actually what happend is when rdlc binded to web page it binds as image.so when i clicks print from dotmatrixprinter it prints like image.but i need it as text i hope you understand my situation if you need any more details please send queryso what i need to do.

Don't use escape code. They are not used by Windows programs. You need to design your report for printing on A4 paper and let the RDLC format the report to fit.

i set draft font for rdlc report of asp.net with c# but i am not getting how to adjust Lpt codes i dont catched?so where i need to place this all escape codesi need to know where i need to set from vb point or if you know from dotnet point of view i need answer So can you please provide me the answwer?

One of the major improvements that Windows provided early in 16-bit Windows development was device independence for many devices including printers. So for a programmer it seldom makes any difference whether the printer is a dot-matrix or laser or bubble-jet or any other technology printer. I am not sure I understand what it is that your are trying to do. Are you saying that you need the data to fit in the width and height of the paper size? I understand that you are saying that width is not a problem. I also understand that you are not sure what words to use when you say particulars. When you say particulars do you mean the height of the paper or the height of the data to be printed?
