[WINFORM] Edit Embedded Text file or Best way to store Datas that can be editable

Question

Hi Everyone

I have Embedded CSV files and using the Datas from CSV file

Everything is fine .Now need to Update the CSV file on runtime.

Since Embedded resources are not editable i want to do something !!! Good way to store/update data or Edit Embedded resources (if possible)

Maybe you could use yor embeded resource as a default file. When your program first runs it creates an identical file in say MyDocuments folder. You could then update that file as needed and always have your default file to fall back on

Hi frends tanks for the response @frog I am havin list of messages in gridview each message contain subtags ( when i click grid row all subtags are loaded in treeview) each treeview node s having some description shown in richtextbox same like dictionary

To the best of my knowledge there's no way to edit an embedded resource at runtime. You could stream the .csv data to a disk file and edit that though you wouldn't then be able to re-embed it at runtime. A better idea would be to use a 'linked' resource though you'd then need to distribute the default .csv files with your application. If security is a problem you could consider using isolated storage instead.
