Embed datasource control in 2010 web forms
In a C#asp.net 2010 detailsview and formveiw controls, I am asking what embedding various linq data source controls in certain cells. Basically I want to embed different datasources so the default dates will appear in diffeent data cells. This allows the user not to have to enter the date unless there are some excpetions. The data would come from different tables in different datacontext production areas. Is this possible? IF so, can you point me to links that I can use to see how to accomplish this task?

1. You are correct saying:"I think you are saying that you need to embed from multiple datasources into detailsview".
2. All the tables are in the same database.
3. you are correct that I would like to create a SQL query that retrieves all the data. However I prefer to use linq to sql as the datasource as opposed to sql as the datasource.
4. Basically there is a company table that controls all the hierarchy information for all the customers.
5. There is also the 'process table' were rows will be inserted into this table based upon what the user enters on the web form.
6. Basically I have 1 table that is not really related to other tables. The schedule table are dates that customers are required to have various 'processing items' submitted by. I want to prepopulate the web form with these dates so the user of the webform do not need to enter dates unless the customer submits the 'processing items' late.
7. I want to use the detailsview since the user will be working with one record at a time.
Basically I do not know how to setup the links for the different datasources. There needs to be a dataource for the information entered on the web page. There probably needs to be another datasource for the various cells I want to place the schedule table dates.
