Excel to 2 Access Databases then notification E-Mail

Question

Let me preface by letting you know I'm new to VB.Net, but have been working with web based server-side programming languages for almost 10 years. I've stumbled through making a couple little useful apps, but I need help with my next project.

Part of my job entails taking yesterday's Excel sheet that's formatted the same way every day and manually inputting the same information from it into 2 different Access databases. Lots of Alt+Tab, CTRL+C, CTRL+V. I know it can be done much easier and less time consuming via VB.net.

I tried http://tempuri.org/tempuri.html but couldn't get it to work

I also tried cherry picking from http://tempuri.org/tempuri.html but couldn't get it to work either

Any help/direction is appreciated

Hi try to open the excel workbook get the data into variables and then do an update-sql statement. This is basic stuff you find lots of examples on the net. Here's a start to open excel-workbook: Dim objExcel As Object objExcel = CreateObject( Excel.application ) objExcel.visible = True objExcel.workbooks.open(c:	est.xls) Hope this helps
