Extremely ambiguous error

Question

Okay I thought the error of the infamous Microsoft meaningless error messages was over... but now I'm getting this on a client machine... My .Net app fails to run all I get is a MessageBox with the following 'Fatal Error' CLR error: 8007000b. The program will now terminate. The machine is running Win98SE with .Net framework 1.1. Anybody have any ideas? -James

You running Whidbey? I'm having all kinds of problems that didn't occur until I installed it. To debug ASPNET just has to be part of domain users and can be part of Debugger Users correct? Am I missing something? There's a new user ASPNET_WEB_ADMIN that creates a web server on the fly to run your test app in--of course MS wasn't trying to add any levels of complexity... :-)

run a program :) it won't launch any .Net apps so I'm re-installing the framework now...
