Formating Data Field in Crystal Report

Question

Hi all  I have developed Desktop application .. in that i have use Crystal report which is in Visual Studio 2005 (Not install saperate Crystal Report software ) for printing the report . but the problem is when i print the report the phone field will display as 9850545656.00 i.e two decimal point add after number. but i use phone no field as numeric(200) datatype . i am using sqlserver2005 .. i wnt to only no will be display ..how to do formating in crystal report ..i am new in crystal report please help... thanks in advance....

On the Field Explorer: Right Click 'Formula Fields' Choose 'New' Create a new formula with this If the value you are passing is a number use ToText: Picture(ToText({ORGANIZATION_VW.ORGA_CONTACT_ PHONE })(xxx)xxx-xxxx) Save it and then use it. If you see commas and decimals then you need to go to 'File' and then 'Options' then 'Fields' Choose Numbers then Customize then take out the thousands and make decimal 1 (get it to a number without any commas or decimals) . It should look right now.
