Formula Field Calculation Of Crystal Reports

Question

I have a crystal reports which containing information of Items calculation as below
date open bal inward outward balance
01/04/2012 10 NIL NIL
02/04/2012 NIL 2 NIL
03/04/2012 NIL NIL 5

The column balance is inform of formula field and I wants to calculate balance formula field as below.
date open bal inward outward balance
01/04/2012 10 NIL NIL 10
02/04/2012 NIL 2 NIL 12
03/04/2012 NIL NIL 5 7

How to calculate formula field balance?.

this type of error occurs when field name is wrong. are you using procedure? you can see the demo.

Thanks Sudhakar I have utilised your idea e.g. Balance(ccur{nil;table name.column name}) it's throw an error like  Not Recognized field

create a formula name it>>>>Balance (ccur({nil;1.balance})+ccur({nil;1.inward})-ccur({nil;1.outward})) then create A running total Field:::::RTotal0 in running field ::: field to summarize:@Balance type of Summary :sum i any problem see the attached file. thank you. have a nice day.
