Help me to produce the code of the following requirement of the form.

Dear Sir I want to make two forms form1 and form2 after that i want to load the form1 for the specific time say 1 minute and close it and then open the form2. How can i acheive this requirement.Plzzzzzzzzz give me the code for this as soon as possible.

The most logic way is to create the main form as the application form and start it hidden then launch the Splash Screen and on Window close (time controlled with a timer) close the splash screen and unhide the main form. The code of Vulpes is enough for doing the most difficult part of the job. You just need to hide the mainform on start and add the unhide code to the tick event and you're done.

What you are describing is often called a splash screen. There are many ways to do it. One way is to show both forms in the Main function (in the Program class in the Program.cs file). When the application is first generated the Main function shows the main form. You can change it to first show the first form (the splash screen) then the main form. The splash screen form can set a timer itself (as Vulpes shows) but then in the timer tick event the splash screen can just call Close() to close itself.

Well you can't do it exactly like that because when you close the main form (form1) the whole applcation will close automatically. However you could hide it rather than close it as follows: First place a timer (timer1 say) on form1 and then place this code in its Load eventhandler: private Form1_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { timer1.Interval = 60000; timer1.Start(); } and this code in the timer's Tick eventhandler: private void timer1_Tick(object sender EventArgs e) { timer1.Stop(); Form2 f2 = new Form2(); f2.Show(); this.Hide(); } Notice though that just closing Form2 will not be enough to close down the whole application which will carry on running with a hidden main form! To deal with that you either need to 'unhide' the main form or call Application.Exit() whenever you close Form2: In particular you need to handle its FormClosed event: private void Form2_FormClosed(object sender FormClosedEventArgs e) { Application.Exit(); }
