How do you Concatenate in Report Expressions

Question

How do I concatenate in the expression builder. I have a report and in there is an expression textbox. I can get it to display dataset info no problem. I can even get it to concatenate an expression and then a string =(expression + "string") But I cannot figure out how to concatenate multiple expressions together.

I thought this concept would work, but it fails every time

=Sum(Fields!PV_EXAMINER.Value, "DataSet2") + " " + User!Language

My only other thought would be to try converting the result of the Sum function to a string explicitly: Sum(Fields!PV_EXAMINER.Value DataSet2) .ToString &   & User!Language

This did remove the error but it causes bad information to be displayed. I have two grids on the report one with each value in an individual cell ad the second how I want it 1 giant concatenated box. The values are correct in the top box but not in the concatenated one.

I'd see if it makes any difference if you use the Visual Basic concatenation operator & rather than + : =Sum(Fields!PV_EXAMINER.Value DataSet2) &   & User!Language
