How to avoid showing folders in website name

Question

Hi All I have created a website which works successfully. Now for eg imagine that the name of my website is ABC. And I have many folders inside it I have many aspx pages and their relevant .cs pages. eg. I have folders such as E1 E2 etc. when i say www.ABC.com/E1 all the contents inside the folder gets displayed I want to avoid this. What should I do so that whenever the some puts www.ABC.com/E1 it should not work tats nothing should be displayed. Thanks in advance Regards cmrhemalatha

Hi hemalatha In order to avoid directory listing for a virtual directory.just goto to inetmgr and select that virtual directory(say E1) and goto Virtual directory tab and uncheck Directory Browsing checkbox.I hopeit will work
