how to get files from directory in list_box1 to list_box2?

Question

I could get the directories (2012 2014...) and put them in a listbox1. `DirectoryInfo[] diri_info = new DirectoryInfo(FBD.SelectedPath).GetDirectories(); foreach (DirectoryInfo dir in diri_info) { listBox1.Items.Add(dir); }  And I tried to also get the files in a directory selected And display them in the listbox 2 and open selected file but files dosn't appear  how fix that please ? private void listBox2_SelectedIndexChanged( object sender EventArgs e) { DirectoryInfo dirictory_choisis =(DirectoryInfo)listBox1.SelectedItem; FileInfo[] files = dirictory_choisis.GetFiles(); foreach (FileInfo file in files) { listBox2.Items.Add(file.FullName); } } } } [1]: https://i.stack.imgur.com/rmtZH.png

Hey SelectedIndex changed event should be triggered on listbox1 instead of listbox2 so that when it got selected from listbox1 it fetches the files from that respective folder. private void listBox 2 _SelectedIndexChanged( object sender EventArgs e) Good luck !!

When you are getting the collections just append the foldername\filename to make the fullpath Or As you are adding FileInfo to the listbox you can directly cast and open the file var FileToOpen = (FileInfo)listbox2.SelectedItem; Process.Start(FileToOpen.FullName);

Due to different language exception can't be understood by me please interpret it in english what was that? Just make sure that filename you are building on Process.Start(..) exists. Moreover particular file must have file association with some program to execute if it doesn't then it will throw exception.
