How upload files from client system to remote system

Hi

 

I am creating a form  which browse the files from local system and save it to server.

kindly let me know how it works and what would be the code for that.

 

It is like Uploading resumes to any websites . Kindly tell me how it works , the resumes which we uploaded to the sites how they are stored to remote system or server.

 

I am making a similar kind of project.
