migrate data from excel sheet to sql server when excel sheet was approved

Hi.
I need procedure to perform this task. i my site i have a doc library we upload excel files this library will be attached to a workflow so when the approver approves the document then the data should copy to sql server data base. else no operation

urgent requirement please help

1) One way is  once the document is approved what you can read the excel file (using excel object model) and insert/update the values into sql server. 2) Second way you can download the excel file into particular folder in the server you can create a windows service which looks for the excel file read it and send the information into sql server. 3) Third way I guess you can SSIS packages from asp.net application. Once the document is approved you call the ssis package to do the data transformation from excel to sql server. HTH.
