Install sharepoint no Window 7 (32 bit )

Question

Hello I want to install sharepoint on my window 7 . Attached image shows the configuration of my pc . Is it possible for me to install sharepoint ? please reply -Thanks

Hi If you have windows 2008 R2 then you can install the sharepoint foundation 2010 and this is enough for starting and learning with Sharepoint. There are lot differences are there between Sharepoint 2007 and Sharepoint 2010. Moreover Sharepoint 2010 is latest in the market. Sharepoint 2007 / WSS 3.0 on Windows 7 / Vista : For this you need to install a small utility from Bamboo solutions : wssOnVista. Which version of sharepoint do you have ? On windows 7 machine (32 bit)  you can install WSS 3.0 /Sharepoint 2007 and you can't install sharepoint 2010 (basically it is 64 bit) on Windows 7 32 bit machines. If you have windows 7 64 bit version then you can install Sharepoint 2010. Sharepoint 2007 / WSS 3.0 on Windows 7 / Vista : For this you need to install a small utility from Bamboo solutions : wssOnVista.
