Software Engineer/C# - San Diego Opportunity

Skills: C#, ASP.Net, SQL.  Needs good C# and must understand the back end.

 

This is to work on the location database project, which is an application to track all locations (2100 of them) with regards to location, contact details, franchisee info, asset management etc.  This is one of their most major applications.

 

Role: Enhancing and maintaining the app.  Also working on reporting.  Part of the middleware systems integration group working on service oriented architecture (SOA).

 

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for working on current enterprise mission-critical web-based applications written in ASP.NET (C# and VB.NET). The most Important functions of this position are Web-based User Interface design and Business Logic programming. You will also be working closely with a DBA to design and implement databases in Microsoft SQL Server therefore you must know database fundamentals. This member of the team must be able to work independently. You must possess excellent communications skills and be able to work directly with the customer. This position will provide great opportunities to learn, grow, and work in a variety of functions over time.

REQUIRED

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong ASP.NET - C# experience
• Strong JavaScript experience
• Understanding of Database Fundamentals and experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and above.
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Ability to work independently
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

PREFERRED

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science
• VB.NET experience
• Database Design experience in MS SQL Server 7.0 and above
• Writing Stored Procedures in T-SQL
