sql server agent not working on network service..

Question

I have to run a job on sql server database while connecting to the database server i am unable to see the sql server agent option on that server whereas locally i can see that option is available.Any help will be graetly appreciated..

If you have SQL Server Management Studio Express installed (any version prior to SQL Server 2012 SP1) you won't see because it doesn't contain any facility for SQL Server Agent. Check your permission in sql server.
