wcf service and web page in single project

Dear All i have doubt .i have wcf service .and i have a asp.net webpage .am accessing the service using service reference to my solution.but now my doubt is is it possible to run a web application and wcf service in a single project ..if possible please give me some exmaple . how can i maitain a wcf service and web page thats include wcf service in a single project

my doubt is is it possible to run a web application and wcf service in a single project In practical these two should be separated. From my experience most of the business logics are coded as a WCF services. So that it will be consumed by any web applications including ASP.Net. Also WCF provides more deployment options than the normal ASP.Net web application. So if you implement the WCF as a separate project you can take this advantage also. If you implement WCF in single project you missed out these features. how can i maitain a wcf service and web page thats include wcf service in a single project As i told before this is not advisable. If you are doing some home work project means you can go with it. There are few ways are there: 1) You can include the Class Library project and add an .svc file then implement it. 2) Otherwise you can include the SVC file in the project itself. In both cases VS will create the interface file for you where you have declare the contracts and implement it in SVC file. Hope this helps!
