What is the best mvc project flow to createBig application?

Question

I am gonna start mvc project so i m getting lots of sample project and document and i am getting confuse which is the best to implement. and pl. suggest best apporch. i wanna create project in code first approch but i got various ways to implement. could you please give me a sample project so that i can follow that. Thanks in adv. :)

i used msql db in my all previous project in asp.net . so i would like to know that  i am gonna using mvc . if i use code first apporch with mysql db. will i face any problem with that?
