ZoomIn and ZoomOut functions for custom user control(Map) containing gdi geometries

Question

I need to write a code for zoomin zoomout and pan functions. I have made a usercontrol(Map) to show geometries of a shapefile using GDI technique. Now I need to add some common map functions such as ZoomIn ZoomOut FitView and pan etc. Is there any methods in GDI+ to do such operations? Anybody Please Help... Thanks in advance.

I am not showing an image in a picturebox. My requrement is very similar to common functions of a map control like in google earth there are controls like Zoom Pan FitView etc. I have made a usercontrol which contains methods to draw geometries like lines and polygons. Now I want to add those common functions(zoom pan etc.) to the usercontrol.

If you are using windows forms the easiest way is to: 1: Put a panel on your form and set it's autoscroll properties to true 2: Put a picturebox inside that panel - sizemode autosize. 3: You need to get a ratio of width and height so that when you zoom in you keep the aspect ratio. Before zooming the picturebox sizemode needs to be set to stretchimage. When you want to zoom in increase the size of the picturebox and the parent panel will then display scroll bars as required
