Two type of cookies 1. Non Persistent cookie or session cookies:- These are temporary cookie files, which are erased when you close your browser. When you restart your browser and go back to the site that created the cookie, the website will not recognize you.               There are 3 types of cookies-

                                                  a.In Memory cookie(for using Below 20 cookies we use this and to use more than that we go for Dictionary cookie)

                                                  b.Persistent cookie

                                                  c.Dictionary cookie(we use it if we want to use more than 20 cookies)

                           And finally Cookies are used at Client Side where as Sessions are used at Server side and views also
