Just put these template field inside a grid view.

<asp:Label ID="lblRowNo" runat="server" Text='<%# Container.DataItemIndex + 1 %>'></asp:Label>

</td>

</ItemTemplate>

</asp:TemplateField>

Note: The Line Text='<%# Container.DataItemIndex + 1 %> ' will give you the count of rows in Gridview.
