    Hi Surya, The 192.168.45.24/0 address you are asking about is the local address that your computer supplies via DHCP on your computer. This is a Class C IP address using a standard mask of 255.255.255.0. The /0 is simply letting you know that there is no additional subnet host address mask being applied to your address. If, for instance, there were a sub-netting mask being applied, there would be a /16 or /24 letting you know to mask out the first sixteen or twenty four bits of your IP address instead of the standard mask. The remaining unmasked bits would then be used to determine IP address of each computer on you LAN. You use subnet masking to break up larger networks into smaller networks usually on LANs.
