Microsoft Bringing HoloLens to China

It has been a year since Microsoft started shipping its legacy VR headset HoloLens to the US and Canada market. In one year, the company has brought HoloLens experience to nine countries. And today, at Microsoft Build 2017, Microsoft’s Alex Kipman has announced that the HoloLens will be available in China also by the end of this month.

AR/VR and mixed reality are not very old currently and all the manufacturers in this niche are trying very hard to gain more customers, in order to sustain in the IT market. Microsoft is no different, and this is why it is expanding the reach of HoloLens in a tenth territory. China, being the number one country in headcounts, could be a great market for the holographic headset. As per Microsoft, China is “the world’s biggest market for virtual reality.”
 
Also, the company has hinted that it is now working hard to bring mixed reality into low-priced devices, and demonstrated a new motion controller. Well, let’s see what comes next out of the magic hat of Microsoft.
