By default the Quick Access toolbar present in the left corner of the Word window has several options like undo, redo and save buttons. But Word 2013 also provides the facility to customize the Quick Access toolbar and change their location.
Use the following to customize the Quick Access toolbar.
The Quick Access toolbar has some basic functions like save, undo, redo etc. Now I want to add some other function into the Quick Access toolbar.
Step 1
Click on the "Arrow" button of the "Quick Access" toolbar available in the left corner of the Word ribbon.
Step 2
A Pop-up opens where you can choose the option you want to add to the Quick Access tool bar.
Step 3
Choose "Show below the Ribbon" to show the Quick Access toolbar below the Word ribbon.
Another way to customize the Quick Access toolbar.
Step 1
Click on the "File" tab and choose "Option" in Word 2013.
Step 2
Now the "Word option" window will be opened.
Step 3
Click on the "Quick Access toolbar" tab within the Word option where you can add some extra functions in the Quick Access toolbar.
Step 4
Check the "Quick Access toolbar" below the ribbon checkbox to show the Quick Access toolbar below the Word ribbon.
