A drop down list and a query on it.

Question

I am trying to create a drop-down list that is bounded with a datasource(SQL table). there is a column name TeamID and TeamName in a table named team. in dropdown list as the user selects any team the data of that particular team is driven out from a table named Players where Team_ID is a foreign key. I am unable to resolve this query if any of you can help it would be really grateful.

Hi Shifa Plz use Joining in that query. SELECT A.TeamID B.Players FROM team A Players B WHERE A.TeamID = B.TeamID

Thanks Ashiwani Sharma for replying. but I think you didn't get me. i have already made a stored procedure ALTER proc [dbo].[getBattingPlayersOA] @formatId int @resultId int @venueId int @genderId int @teamId int as select * from OA_PlayerBat where format_id=@formatId and Result_id=@resultId and venue_id=@venueId and Gender_ID=@genderId and Team_ID=@teamId; getBattingPlayerOA table has Team_ID column and data against each team_ID I just want that when a user selects a particular team the records of that team's players map on the grid. Each team is assigned particular Id in the table. I am able to show the records in a grid view but only in the case when I am hard-coding team_id
