About Microsoft Business Intelligence

Question

Actually i got a job on Microsoft Business Intelligence  i dont have any idea about it right now i have total 2 years of experience on .net c# MVC but i dont know about the Microsoft Business Intelligence so guys please reply about thing concept.....One thing i want to know is it base on CODING like in c#.....or else i need u guys help.....help me to help u

There are lots of scope in MSBI and also if your Database is strong please go ahead.

You can pretty much forget about C# a bit of VBScript might of help. Please note that entirely a different ball game than .NET C# and MVC. Now it's all about database and analytics. You will need to look into essentially three things. 1/ SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - In general also referred to as an ETL (Extract Transform and Load) tool. 2/ SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - This is for building data warehouse. Start getting used to terms like star schema dimension fact etc. 3/ SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - The front-end part for the above. Latest on the block is PowerBI so look into that as well. This is Microsoft's BI stack.
