about CMS

Question

Hai all,

i need a small suggestion.im goin to create a website which contain nearly 600 pages.in that first 15 pages are already complted by me in vs2010.

and the remaining pages are personal records(one record per page with image biography assetts etc..)and client wants edit option for these personal records.

and he recommends cms (content managemnet system). i dont know how to start and i have no idea about CMS.can any one help me out....
