About maintaining Controls state

Question

I am taking input image in this way and making it invisible on form load

<input type="image" id ="img" name="img" style="display:none;" runat="server" src="../Images/calendar.jpg" " />

On certain condition i am making it visible/Invisible through javascript

After making it visible whenever i am clicking server side button or whenever form is getting postback it is getting invisible again

Can you post the code behind also.... Instead of calling selected indexchanged use javascript to change the controls state. On PageLoad like below and remove AutoPostBack = true if not using any other logics... ddl1.Attributes.Add(onchange javascript: showimgdate() );

Dear Suthish sir i am doing in following way On selected index change of one dropdown i am making image visible conditionally and also making it invisible again function showimgdate() { form1.txtvalue.value = ; // document.getElementById(img).style.visibility = 'hidden' if (document.getElementById(filter).selectedIndex != 2) { document.getElementById(img).style.display = 'none'; } else { document.getElementById(img).style.display = ''; } } but when it is visible after clicking server side button i am not getting how to maintain its state as image is invisible on form load

If you are sure the logic you applied is correct then try with other browsers also. Or else upload the code file.
