Go to home page of this site and in the left side you will see Design & Architecture link. It has articles samples on all design patterns and how to implement in .NET. If you have a small program say 20 lines you can write in Main. But when you have large application with different types of resources - user interfaces controls images code business logic database and so on your Main method will get confusing and unmanageable. Breaking a large cluster of code into smaller pieces is one of the main feature of modular programming.
