Abt creating a website in asp.net

Hello Sir I want to create a website in asp.net having title--Online Examination System. I am first time going to build a website in asp.net. So plz give me an idea abt designigcoding. From where i start??I want to do this project as my internal project having 100 marks. So i am very exiting to work with it.Thanking u.

First understand the functionality of the Project like 1. What is the application going to do? 2. What will the application contain? (About the Modules) 3. Who are going to use this Application? (Though it is just for your project still think it from customers point of view. In your case it would be Students) 4. Then start designing the Database design as in the tables links between the tables Prepare a DML diagram if possible. 5. Then design a page on a piece of page and when you you feel it looks good move ahead by designing a page in asp.net. 6. And then move ahead with the coding part. For example - 1. You would require a Login Page for your application. This inturn will have specific tables in the database where you will store some students information (mail id and password). 2. After Login you can create a Home Page of your application where you will give some information about your Application and links to various Examination Topics pages. 3. Then you create pages which will contains the Questions you want... Hope this answer gives you an idea on how to start.. Feel Free to ask your questions if have any doubts.
