access array between two forms

Question

Hi I have an array1 in Form1 and just wondering how can I access array1 from Form2? And if I can not do this in an array how to do this in a list box? because I have done this before in VB6. Thanks in advance.

Hi jhsu8999 I guess I have the answer what u r looking for. You can use a MODULE. This is d*mn easy. Add a module in ur project (you know how to add an item... don't you?). Name it as say... Global.vb. It is nothing but a code editor. It doen't have an interface. Now open it and declare all of your existing forms in it (Inside the Module... end Module section). For example: Public F1 As New Form1() Public F2 As New Form2() *** Note: They should be public as you want to work with the contents or data from each form. Now add a main() into it[again the Module... end Module section] and load the first form you want to show at the begining of ur application in it. Sub main() F1.ShowDialog() End Sub So far so good. Now you can call any function in a form class in any other form class or access any variable declared in that class **** provided u declared that function/variable as Public. You can use any forms control from a different form provided you changed the Modifier property of that control to Public. For example: to call a Calculate() function written in F1 from F2. just use F1.Calculate(). Same for the controls F1.TextBox1.Text=Blah Blah. For any variable.. F2.TotalCount=F1.ItemCount Well I don't know any easier method for what u want to do. If u have something else... just let me know. Thank you... BAAN
