Accessing IIS configuring settings

Hi friends, I want to know that can we programmatically access IIS configure settings? If yes then how it is possible to do that please explain in brief?

hi, ApplicationHost.config is the root file of the configuration system when your are using IIS 7 and above. It includes definitions of all sites, applications, virtual directories and application pools, as well as global defaults for the web server settings. This can be done using the IIS ADSI provider or the IIS WMI provider.
