Accessing image button created in code behind file on aspx

Question

created a image button in code behind file. It has an event imageButton_Click. also want to use this image button and event to create an async post back trigger for a update panel in code behind file. Is it possible to do that? right now it says it couldn't find control image button.

Your idea of place holder is great and new to me. Hi As per requirement it is possible to add button and use async postback dynamically. Please find code below: In aspx In aspx page add update panel and placeholder control inside it. Because placeholder will help to add image button.
