add another colum in a database?

Question

i have created a database that hooks in with my program, problem is i forgot to add in a colum .... i kmnow how to do this by editing the table, problem is how do i then get it to the program and to act like the others already on there?
wil i need to create a new data source? i tried this once and then NONE of them worked, none of the colums would save the changes.
&note* .. the new item i created appears in the database exporer window but NOT in the data source exporer .. im not sure what to do

If I understand what you are saying then there is something called the Database Designer. You can use it instead of the wizard. In it you can modify the SQL as Subhendu says. I am not sure that would have helped but probably it would have.

ok i managed to click on a button in the data source exporer called configure data source with wizard my new column was listed there so i clicked on its check box to include it ... but i had to include them all so all checkboxes got selected .. when i done that it sure enough added in my new column but had defaulted all of themn to Label form ... so had to remove all of the old ones on my windows form and drag them all over again. would trhere have been anohter way of doing this or have i just messed that up and made alot more work for myself?

im not sure where that would be located? The new colum shows in the database exporer window along with all my other ones but when i view the data source exporer and open up Database1DataSet1 it is not listed there unlike the ones i originally created.

ok i have created a small program and a database to go with that program. the database lists several things that are listed on my program in colums; weight height width ect ... but i missed one out ... so i went back to the data base and added in the colum i forgot about ... however i cannot now seem to get this item onto my windows form like i have done with the existing colums from the database; how can this be done?
