Add Javascript to Pages shown in webBrowser1?

Question

Hello everybody :P

Basically the title says it all, I need to add javascript to webBrowser1 that is called when a button is pressed. This java I want to call is not in the page itself, which therefore is my dillema. How do you add javascript to the page on button press, without changing the source code to the page that you are on? is it a matter of copying the code and going to a page "about: <code here with added java>", or there some other way to do this? I believe the webrowser is similiar to an axWebBrowser so you should be able to control the html by calling webbrowser.Document.body that will get you the document and then you can manipulate it and reload it. You can also grab individual elements by name or id if you set the name/id in the html tags: HTMLDocument doc = webbrowser.Document as HTMLDocument; IHTMLElement webElm = doc.getElementById(elementidhere-or-nameifgetbyname); //used to read form values etc elementfromabove = webElm.getAttribute(value 0).ToString();

I wanted to use javascript because it was supposedly able to do something that I now know it cant Thanks for the response but just for reference how would I go about programically adding it to the html of a displayed page without editting the initial page? ty...

If you are loading a pgae in a webrowser control and want javscript on the button why don't you want to put the javascript in the html file being loaded? I am confused by what you are asking. Normally what poeple want to do is make the html button execute c# code. If this is the case respond and i will tell you how to do that. Otherwise just put the javascript in the html.
