add listbox value and text to 2D array

Question

I have two listboxes and i am adding listbox1 items to listbox2.
listbox 1 items are loaded from database. so i wanted to store listbox1 value and text to 2D array. how to do that please anyone help me

Good job!I learn much from you.Now i have another question how to bind arrays to GridView in asp.net ?I am not good at the filed of asp.net . I know that you can use exclamation sign to bind array of simple types (like string) to GridView like this: But this doesn't seem to be the case with DataNavigateUrlFields And I get following error: A field or property with the name '!' was not found on the selected data source. Can you help me?

i want to add selected items of listbox1 to listbox2. i am loading listbox1 items from darabase and its sorted by name. once i remove items from listbox2 all removed items must be added back to listbox1 and listbox1 must be sorted.

Just to be clear here are you saying that you want to copy all listbox1's items to listbox2 (via the array) or only the selected items? If it's the latter can more than one item be selected at once?

okay sir. once i added selected items from listbox1 to listbox2 selected listbox1 items must be removed. and once i removed items from listbox2 all removed items must be added to listbox1 with sorted order. how to do that.
