I select Bill Number from a table Bill number dataype is nvachar Ex: Billnumber is 18 i want to add a string prefix during selectoin Ex: AB-18 How to possible? my select query is BranchTransferMaster Select . billNo as BillNo From BranchTransferMaster

I think billno is integer field in your database. try this Select 'AB-' + CAST( billNo AS VARCHAR) as BillNo From BranchTransferMaster

but i got error Msg 8114 Level 16 State 5 Procedure Branch_Ledger_Report Line 22 Error converting data type nvarchar to numeric.
