Adding database data to a textbox

I am stuck as to how to add individual database values from a database I created to a textbox.

There are many articles in this web site that can help you. There are even a few just about how to create connections and then you can get the connection string created for you automatically. One way is to go to the Project's Settings.Settings file and add a connection string property there and then you can use that to create a connection string for your project but you probably need more instructions for how to do that.

No. it shouldn't change anything. What matters is what version of which database you're using.
