Adding new action in MVC 3/4

Question

I wanna add a new menu item named as Help beside Home and About menu and display a text when the menu Help is clicked. How can i do that??

I hope you are using shaerd layout.cshtml for your project so to add help link there you need to use @ Html.ActionLink( Help  // Help  // Home  // null  // null // ) than add method help in you Home Controller public class HomeController : Controller { public ActionResult Help() { ViewBag.Message = Help page; return View(); } }
