Adding XML comment to large number of existing XML Files?

I have several XML files and i want to add an XML comment at the top of each file using C#.

Thanks for your help but it is not working Few changes should be done. XmlNode node = doc.CreateNode(XmlNodeType.Comment Comments ); And this part is not has a problem XmlNode dummy = doc.InsertBefore(doc.GetElementsByTagName(Main)[0] node); The reference node is not a child of this node.
