Adobe Products to Build Mobile Apps

Question

So I am writing one article on different ways to build mobile (iPhone, to start with) applications. There are many ways one can build iPhone apps. For example, MonoTouch (C#), Apple iPhone SDK (Objective C), jTouch, ComponentOne and several others.

Question I have is, anybody here using Adobe products to design and build iPhone and other mobile apps?

Is that the company that makes Acrobat which is the original product for PDF files? The PDF format was proprietary for many years until recently. The Acrobat software was buggy but they have done much better recently. The company really missed out on the opportunity to make the PDF format more popular than it is. It is also the same company that makes Flash correct? I think of Flash as the software that many companies use to make obnoxious intrusive advertisements. I have heard of comprisons of Flash and Silverlight but I don't know how accurate that is; I hope Silverlight is not used as much as Flash is used to make obnoxious intrusive advertisements.
