AJAX is a web development methods or a group of technologies that used on the client-side to create asynchronous (combination of Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) web applications. With Ajax web applications can send data to and retrieve data from a server asynchronously (in the background) without interfering with the display and behavior of the existing page. Hi Amit Ajax is a method of employing JavaScript DHTML and the XMLHttp behavior in the browser to provide truly dynamic content on a web page without the page-refresh. So if you want to reduce you time in doing form validations (ajax has control to do that) if you want to reduce your bandwidth usage (ajax will process on the server and you show some icon to the user in the front end) if you want your page to look more sleekinteractive and simple (ajax has the controls which you can use and do it faster) user interaction is much nicer as the page is not refreshed and the content is displayed there it self on the click. Ajax has been around since a long time but being utilized in the framework now. Please do not forget to mark Accepted Answer.
