Ajax Modal pop up Extender

Question

Hi friends I want to show modal popup extender when user idle on the same page for some minutes..(note:not session time out alert). How can i achieve this?

Hi You can do this by using setInterval() as shown below idleTime = 0; $(document).ready(function () { var idleInterval = setInterval(ShowModalPopup() 60000); // 1 minute //Zero the idle timer on mouse movement. $(this).mousemove(function (e) { idleTime = 0; }); $(this).keypress(function (e) { idleTime = 0; }); }) function ShowModalPopup() { alert('Idle for 1 minute'); //show your modal popup here idleTime = 0; } Let me know if you need any more help Regards Iftikar
