alert box with asp.net button control

hiii please help for how to create a javascript alert message box with ok asp.net button.because when i click ok button i need to check some condition from database so i need ok button of asp.net control... Thanks in advance

You have two option on it 1 is direct use of javascript alert box like ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(this typeof(Page) Alert  alert(' + sMessage + ');  false); or Response.Write( alert('Hello'); ); and its not possible to getting click event of javacript ok button if you do so you have to handle on script 2 is make user control in asp.net with ajax model popup extender (in that you could get the ok button click event)
