hi you are getting this exception because in c_Id having null value to handle this you can check if this variable have null if null then assign empty string to this variable before assigning to location try as follows if(cus.C_Id==null) cus.C_Id =; response.Header.Location........................ continue your code Note: I think Id should not come null check properlly how Id got null
