Hi

When ran my code in the emulator and i clicked a button it shows the following error "An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in Unknown Module."

Kindly help proffer a solution

Yes, the problem here is that you're deserialzing the JSON files into arrays of the UI class. When the deserializer calls the BibleInYear constructor (which it does behind the scenes), this cause the AddDevotions() method to be called which leads to the deserializer (and hence the BibleInYear constructor) to be called again and so on until the stack overflows. You therefore need to deserialize the JSON files to arrays of a different class. This error usually means that a method keeps on calling itself recursively until it runs out of stack space. The stack is typically limited to 1 MB in .NET applications. It can also occur if a class definition contains a field with the same type as itself. In such a case the constructor keeps on calling itself until the stack overflows. However, to diagnose and fix the problem, you need to be able to pinpoint where in your code it's happening. So I'd use the debugger to find out where the error is occurring and, if you can't see anything obvious yourself, post the code here so we can have a look at it.
