An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowExceptio

Question

hi every one
i am developing an application in "4.0" 3 tier,web application

when i am trying to run the application
i am getting an error "An unhandled exception of type 'System.StackOverflowException' occurred in AgastyaAgroChemicalsBAL.DLL" i have kept a break point at the page load
but the application is directly showing the error,without even starting from the page load

Check AgastyaAgroChemicalsBAL.DLL assembly. It looks like there is a problem in the assembly during the application load. Do you have stracktrace / innerexception of this exception?

I found it. In the business logic layer you're creating an object for ClsDataPriceList and in the ClsDataPriceList again you're creating instance for the business layer. Because of that it is throwing stackoverflow exception. public class ClsBusinessPriceList { ClsDataPriceList objdal = new ClsDataPriceList(); } public class ClsDataPriceList { ClsBusinessPriceList objbal = new ClsBusinessPriceList(); } So my suggestion is please comment the below line in data access layer. // ClsBusinessPriceList objbal = new ClsBusinessPriceList(); Please let me know if it is not helping you.
