Any advice on how it is done?

I all I have just started learning c#, enjoying it so far, and have to build a website. I would really like to put something different on the page for hyperlinks something like they have on this website, top right (www.unfold.no), any advice on how it is done?? Photoshop image?? Is it tricky to put them at an angle?

It was just done using CSS and Jquery..
