Appending to an XML file C#

Question

Hi: I have an xml file with the following structure:- I want a piece of code just to append anather 'student' to the above Students table(.xml file) from my windows app. Thanks for your co-operation, it's appreciated!! I want the output like the folloing:-

Hi Simon: No your xml file is correct, thereis no problem with it its just that you are using empty elements and i'm using containers. empty elements become containes after you hage generated a schema corresponding to your xml file, according to w3c standars i guess, remember i'm new to C#.
